Find the adventure of a lifetime in Belize’s jungle with an excursion that takes you over the treetops and into the caverns along the Caves Branch River. This combination of a tubing ride through the caves and a thrilling zipline course gives you a pair of incredible perspectives on the wilderness.
After you’re picked up from your hotel, your guide leads you on a hike to the entrance of the cave that gives the Caves Branch River its name. Collect your inner tube and start floating to see the strange shapes your light makes on the shadowy walls that loom over you. Water drips from the ceiling to create echoing sounds among the spectacular columns of stalactites and stalagmites in the cave’s vast chambers, where you can admire cathedral-sized spaces shaped entirely by nature.
For a whole other perspective on Belize’s rainforest, your guide leads you to a course of 8 strategically arranged zipline platforms for your fantastic aerial tour. You get a safety session from the professional crew, don your helmet and harness, and then set out to begin the excursion. The course takes you up to 85 feet (26 m) in the air, with lines that take you to 1,200 feet (365 m) at a stretch, and at the end you rappel back down to give your inner thrill-seeker a last terrific adventure ahead of the ride back to Belize City.
